I haven't posted here in forever. To be honest, I have a hard time doing the double journal thing and I've mostly been on LJ. I keep thinking that I'll catch up and yeah, that's not going to happen. *sigh* Guilt!

Water damage! The ceiling in our bedroom and fallen plaster, kitchen pots all along the floor to catch the dripdripdripdrops. Exciting, no? *g*

Fandom makes me sad. *curls into ball*

Okay, I don't know what happened but it's nice to see you posting here. I'm sorry fandom is giving you grief. IJ does make for a nice refuge though, if you need a break from the overall shenanigans elsewhere - even if it's just a temporary refuge. *snug*

It's all flocked stuff. Must.Respect.Flock. Arggh. I just want fandom to be fun and happy, you know? And I really need to keep up with IJ. Most of my flist is synonomous with my LJ one, but not entirely. *snugs you back*

Yeah, like more than one person has already said, if you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong. The problem is that it is easy to get caught up in the not so shiny stuff. You're not going to get involved and then suddenly, without knowing exactly how, you *are*.

Really, IJ is a good place for distancing yourself a little, gaining some perspective. Or at least, it has been for me. And, on a selfish note, I do miss talking to you. :)

I hope this (whatever *this* is) will blow over soon and you'll find your happy again.

I miss talking to you too. I know that I've an email of yours to respond to, but I'm playing serious catch-up now. Just days and days behind. Eep! One good thing about that is that I'm too busy for fandom sadness now. *g*
